Lodge will meet tonight at 7:30 at
Walbridge Funeral Home to pay
last respects to Sister Daisy Henson.
Miss Nancy Searles of Bennington was one of seven Vermont girls capped at ceremonies at the School of Nursing at the Elliot Community Hospital in Keene, N.H., recently. Mrs. Dean Hanson of the Walbridge Funeral Home spent five days last week attending, a specailized course, "Management for the Ladies of the Funeral Service, conducted under auspices of the National Foundation of Funeral Service. The course was held at the Foundation's headquarters building In Evanston, ILL. Circle 4 of the Methodist Church held its meeting Tuesday night at the home of Mrs. Gerald Butler with 20 members present. The co-hostesses were Hazel Burt and Florence Santo. Devotions Were led by Gladys Harrington. A short business meeting followed. Games were enjoyed following the meet ing and refreshments were served by the committee, the next meet ing will feature a covered dish supper to be served at the church March 24. The Beech Street 4-H Club met the first of the month at the home of the leader, Mrs. Mario Harris. The girls went at 10 a.m and made vanilla pudding, clam chowder and egg salad which they had for lunch. The boys came at 1 p.m. The meeting was opened by the president Loen Turgeon. The secretary's and treasurer's reports were given and accepted. Members are selling cards to make money for the club. A booklet was given to every boy to study. The boys will meet at the firehouse at 7 p.m.every Tuesday: The next meeting will be March I.
