A son Marcus Herrold and his family spent the Easter weekend with the Rev. and Mrs. Herrold. Miss Gwendolyn Somerville of Sonestown and Emerald Gerig of Woodburn, Indiana spent the Easter vacation at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Somerville. Miss Katharine Krouse, student at Indiana State Teachers College, Indiana, Penna., is spending the Easter recess with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Kriner of Stony Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Burton Briggs of Wellsboro, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Briggs of Morris were Easter Sunday callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Briggs. Walter Briggs, Jr., of Corning is visiting friends and relatives in Morris this week. Mrs. Emma Rich and Mrs. Geneva Bickle of Woolrich, Pa., Mrs. Nellie Churchill of Keeneyville, Mrs. Jennie stevens, Mrs. Effie Bennett and Mrs. John Stevens of Hammond were callers on Mr. and Mrs. Fred Starkey on Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dildine of Binghamton, N. Y., spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bartlett. Mr. and Mrs. Allie Cloos of Shortville, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Carpenter and daughter Linda, and Miss Ava Carpenter were dinner guests with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Carpenter on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Carleton Hayes, and Mr. Jonah Clark of Wellsboro and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph West of this place visited in Penn Yan last week. Mr. and Mrs. William Collins and family of Rochester, N. Y., visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ferris last week. Mr. and Mrs. John Woodford and son, Kennith, of Burdette, N. Y., visited their mother Mrs. Lucie Alen recently. Mrs. Ray Collins and Mrs. Donald Collins were callers here on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Davis of Elmira called on relatives here on Saturday. Robert Edwards of Niagara Falls, N. Y., Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cosentino of N. Tonawanda N. Y., and Miss Angy Cosentino of Wellsboro spent Easter, at their respective homes. Mrs. F. A. Leipold, Sr., and James Leipold of Westfield visited Mrs. Rex Davis and family on Saturday. Mrs. Louis Perkins and daughter Janice were in Coudersport on Sunday evening. Mrs. C. E. Davis, Mrs. Rex Davis and children, Donald and Dorothy were in Elkland on Monday. Prof. and Mrs. L. R. Irwin and family were in Wellsboro on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Clarendon are visiting their sons Jesse and Vail Clarendon and their families in Elmira. Mrs. Elvira Smith has returned from Florida where she spent the winter months. Mrs. William Munger accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Mary Wright of Auburn N. Y., have been visiting friends in Georgia. Mrs. Edward Treat, and Betsy and Tom Treat visited Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Powlison in Corning on Friday. Mrs. Ross Dean and children of Corning spent Thursday and Friday at the home of her father, Frank Graham. Vicky and Connie Jusick are spending the Easter holidays with their grandparents in Phillipsburg. Mrs. Louise A. Barron and Bill Radcliff of Cherry Tree have been visiting relatives and friends here this week. Mason Bergh, a student at a radio school in Philadelphia is visiting his mother, Mrs. Ruth Bergh. Mr. and Mrs. Ned W. Beiry and son Bill of Franklin, Penna., are visiting Mrs. Beiry's father, William E. West and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Zenith Cummings and sons were weekend guests of her parents in Shinglehouse. John Webster of Philadelphia spent the weekend at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Webster on West avenue. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Lorsch, daughter, Martha Ann, and son, Harry of Sewickley, spent Easter with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Merz. Shirley Pierce, Natalie Webster, Isabella Dye and Jean Ford, of Mansfield State Teachers College, are home for the Easter vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Eno and son, Warren, and Mrs. Fra Personious, of Horseheads, N. Y., were Sunday guests of Mrs. A. B. Deane. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Noteware and son, Thomas spent Easter SUnday with Mr. Noteware's mother, Mrs. C. C. Noteware in Owego, N.Y. Miss Patricia Cooney who is attending the St. Basil Parochial High School at Dushore spent the Easter vacation with her parents here. Mrs. Peter G. Cameron and Mrs. Charles Schrier of Williamsport visited Wellsboro friends on Monday and lunched at the Penn Wells. Richard Dexter and Hampton Pullis of Westlawn, Penna., both Albright College students spent the Easter vacation with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Dexter. Mrs. Lillian Collin of Elmira has been spending several days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Nichols. She was called here by the death of her aunt, Mrs. Helen Saks. Dr. and Mrs. Francis Eaton, son, Edward and daughter, Louesa, of Philadelphia, were weekend guests of Dr. Eaton's sisters, Misses Katharine and Anna Eaton, of Central, avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Bastian and family of Mechanicsburg were here to spend the Easter holidays with Mr. Bastian's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Bastian of Main street. Mr. and Mrs. Emil Samph and son of Harrisburg spent Easter with Mrs. Samph's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Roby of Pearl street where they enjoyed a family dinner party.
