Honoring Miss Monta Jo Brower, who will become the bride of Bill M. Musick, Shawnee, Saturday, January 7, was a shower held in the dining room of a downtown Konawa restaurant. Hostesses were Mrs. Claude Good, Mrs. Bill Capps, Mrs. R. L. Wise, Mrs. Jesse Golden, Mrs. Bill Cloud and Mrs. Rudolph Knight. The wedding will be at 8 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Konawa. A reception will follow the ceremony. Miss Brower is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Brower of Konawa.

Mrs. Thelma Clampitt left Thursday for her home in Weatherford after visiting friends here. She is a former Ada resident and now teaches in the state college at Weatherford.

Mr. and Mrs. Julius M. Hanson had as their guests during the Christmas weekend Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hanson, Oklahoma City, Miss Betty Hanson, Fort Worth, Texas, George, Bethany, Miss Joe Ann Shelter, professor of voice at Southwestern Seminary, Fort Worth, and her mother, H. Shelton, Durant.
