The marriage of Miss Susan Cross and Robert Bixler was solemnized Sunday, Jan. 10th. at 2:30 o'clock in the Huffman Ave. Evangelical United Brethren Church, Dayton. Rev. Edward Pellen performed the ceremony before members of the Immediate families and a few friends. A reception followed at Geyers. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Cross of 764 Louise Dr. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bixler of 125 Blackberry Rd., Dayton, are parents of the bridegroom. Mr. and Mrs. Bixler both were graduated from the Richard Weston School of Beauty, Dayton. She Is employed by the Vogue House of Beauty, Dayton, and he Is an employee of David's Hair Stylist, Dayton. They are residing at 1949 Victoria Dr., Dayton.

MR. And MRS. Robert Vantress of 114 High St., announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Nancy, to Ronald Johannes. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Johannes of New Germany-Trebein Rd. The bride-elect is a senior at Xenia High School. Her fiance was graduated from Beavercreek High School and is employed by the McCall Corp., Dayton. A late summer wedding is planned.

The engagement of Miss Jane Garrison to Sebert Guekian is being announced by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. D. V. Garrison, 116 Spring St. Mr. Guekian is the son of Mrs. Janell Guekian of Xenia and the late Mr. Ralph Guekian. The open church wedding will be an event of Feb. 20 at 2:30 o'clock in Westminster United Presbyterian Church. Miss Garrison was graduated from Xenia High School in 1963 and is attending Central State College. Her fiance was graduated from Xenia High School in 1960 and Miami University, Oxford. He is employed as an accountant by the Anchor Hocking Glass Corp., Jacksonville, Fla.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Liming of Wilmington Route 2 are announcing the birth of their second child and first daughter, Marcia Renee, at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington, Christmas Day.

Mrs. H. K. Stormont has been visiting her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kaylor and family of Dayton.

Mr.and Mrs. Walter Hutson spent a few day over Christmas weekend with Mrs. Elsie Westerfield of Cincinnati.

Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Spurgeon and family on Christmas Eve were Mr. and Mrs. John Ernst and family of Xenia and David Spurgeon USN of Key West Fla. David also spent Christmas with his parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Walton Hutson spent Christmas and several days at the home of Mrs. Edwin Westerfeld of Cincinnati. Saturday evening Mrs. Westerfeld also had as dinner guests, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bardon and family. She returned home with the Hutsons and spent several days at their guest.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Townsley entertained at dinner on Christmas Day. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Townsley and son Greg of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Jesse Townsley.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bovard of Wooster were weekend guests of Mrs. Bovard's par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ramsey. Sunday dinner guests of the Ramseys included Mr. and Mrs. David Ramsey of Wilmington.

Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Saaristo of Livonia, Mich, have returned home after spending the Christmas weekend with Mr. and Mrs. John Davis.

Miss Maude Hastings had as her guests on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 25 and 26, her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Day Kennedy of Pemberville.
