Charles Brown's practical jokes didn't go over too well at the party. It seems he was filled with them just before refreshments. Unless my eyes deceived me, I saw Al Leitenberger at the play with with Kay Donelson. They were also accompanied by Harry McCune's steady from Ontario. All through his big scenes, Harry was cheered on by his cute miss. . . . Say, will someone tell me if I saw Johnny Corcoran leave the play with Barbara Bowles? My deepest apologies to Dick Disanze and Martha Shiplet. Harry McCune has a nice bottle of cologne. "Allure women or money is gladly refunded," is the trade saying put out by the company. Pinkie Ferguson and Lou Gregorio saved money by making their own name cards. Marty Shiplet, Jean Salsbury and Betsy Clark are all sporting new short bobs. They look real cute, too.
