ROBINSON At the Samaritan Hospital, Feb. 23 1944, to Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Robinson, jr., a son, James Joseph Robinson. Mrs. Robinson was the former Alice McNeel. ROBINSON. At the Samaritan Hospital, Feb. 23, 1944, to Mr. and Mrs. Paul P. Robinson of 172 Fifth Avenue, a son, Paul Edwin Robinson. Mrs. Robinson was formerly Marion Lanue. ROSEKRANS. At the Samaritan Hospital, Feb. 22, 1944 to Pfc. and Mrs. Howard W. Rosekrans, a daughter, Nancy. Mrs. Rosekrans was formerly Mary Patroah. Clifford Rugg has returned after 14 weeks in the Ellis Hospital. Misses Mary Macklin and Elaine Van Derwerker were home over the weekend. Pvt. Leon Sparling is home on a seven day furlough from Camp Breckenridge, Ky. The Woman's Missionary Society will meet tomorrow with Mrs. Hoyt Van Der Werhen. Word has been received from Robert Galusha that he is stationed at Camp Croft, S. C. Mrs Merrit Wolfe is visiting Mrs. Harold Davis who lives between Albany and Schenectady. Mrs. Edmund Fitzgerald of Westover Road has returned home after spending a few days in New York. Miss Patricia Connally, daughter of Dr and Mrs. Eugene F. Connally is on the dean's list in the College of Language Arts at Syracuse University. Miss Connally is a junior and is majoring in English. Mrs. Nelson M. Burroughs, the former Miss Nancy Cluett, has returned to her home in Cincinnati,OH , after visiting her father, former Congressman E. Harold Cluett, in Palm Beach, Fla. Another daughter Mrs. Page Chapman of Morristown, N.J., is now the guest of Mr. Cluett. Mr. and Mrs. George Harris of 398 Eighth Street have announced the marriage of their daughter, Miss Edna May Harris, to Staff Sergt. Thomas R. Mossey, son of Mrs. Helen Mossey of Eighth Street. The wedding took place Friday at 7 p.m. in St. Peter's Church. Rev. Edward A. McManus performed the ceremony. Miss Johanna Moore was bridesmaid and Pfc. Martin Mahar of the Marine Corps was best man. E. R. Styles has returned to Easthampton, having spent several days at his home here. Lyndon Wallace and Carl Druba have returned from New York, where they passed the week-end. Foster Geelan spent the weekend with his Sister, Mrs. Thomas Gannon and family at North Cambridge. Mrs Raymond Banker and daughter Kay of Hoosick Falls, spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baker. Honus Wagner, Oldest Active Man In Majors, Observes 70th Birthday. George B. Hart, 84, former clerk in the Department of Public Works and a well known Trojan, died about 9 p.m. yesterday in the Troy Hospital. Mr. Hart was taken ill with a heart attack yesterday afternoon on First Street, north of State Street. He was removed to the hospital in the police patrol by Driver Frank Hahn and Patrolmen William Bell and Dominick Campana, of the Centrol Police Station radio patrol. He was attended there by Dr. Joseph Padalino. Coroner Thomas J. Duffy gave a decision of death due to natural causes. Mr. Hart resided at 350 Fulton Street. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and a former volunteer firemen, having served with the old Arba Read Steamer Company. He waa a collar cutter by trade and was formerly employed by Cluett, Peabody & Co., Inc. Mr. Hart was also employed by that firm in Canada when the company's plant was first opened there. There are no immediate family. The funeral will be held from J. W. Burns Sons, Inc., Fifth Avenue Funeral Chapel at a time to be announced.
