Mrs. Albert E. Cluett, Jr., and children, Albert E. Cluett, 3rd, and Sandra Louise arrived yesterday from their home in East Lansing, Mich., to spend a month with Mrs. Cluett's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James E. MacChesney.

Miss Nancy Darby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander L. Darby of Averill Park, left yesterday for Smith College, Northampton, Mass., where she will start her basic training in the WAVES.

Mrs. Stephen Young entertained Wednesday at her home, 2 Albert Street, with a birthday party in honor of her son, Billy, who observed his sixth anniversary. There were 18 guests present, all classmates of the honor guest. Games were played and refreshments served from a table decorated in red, white and blue.

George DeZuba, U.S.N. stationed at Sampson, has completed his boot training and is spending a 16-day furlough with his family.
