Mr. and Mrs. Don Zimmerman and family of Council Bluffs,la., returned home New Year's Day after a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Zimmerman.

Mr. and. Mrs. Lester Ernst and son, David, of Council Bluffs, la., and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ernst of Lincoln visited over the holidays at the home of Roy and Mabel Ernst.

Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Murphy and Nancy had as their New Year's dinner guests Mrs. Everett Johnson and son, Eddie, of Kimball. Mrs. Carl Fleming and daughters, Jeane and Jan, and Dick Whitcomb.

Mrs. Frank Toufar returned Saturday night from Norwalk, Calif., where she spent the Christmas holidays with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Pinard and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Buss and children, Michael and Sheryl, left Monday for their home at Vernon, Tex., after spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Held, and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Held and son, Bob, of Napa, Calif. left this morning for their home after spending the holidays with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Badje and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Held, and other relatives.

Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Williams on New Year's Day were Mr. and Mrs. Vern Sioma and Patty of Monroe, Mr. and Mrs. John Eisner of Platte Center. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Davis and Alan.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Honnig and daughter, Vickie Lynn, of Loveland, Colo., returned home Saturday after spending several days with Mrs. Hennig's brother-in-Jaw and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Lind. They were here for Roxle Lind's wedding Dec. 26.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bogus of Platte Center and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Bogus went to Elgin Tuesday to attend a Wake for Mrs. Joe Bogus' aunt, Mrs. Mary Mackel. While there they visited Jennie, Nick and Eddie Mackel, and with Mr. and Mrs. Aloyaa Moser and Jeanette.
