Miss Ruth Alterbury was the guest of Miss Marguerite Critenden yesterday. Mrs. B. W. Hirsch of Memphis is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Nathan Goldstein. Mrs. Henry Crittenden will entertain the Fortnightly club Thursday afternoon. Miss Eloise Taylor has returned from school in Chicago, IL., to spend the holidays here. C., who have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Holland, left Sunday for California. Mr. Abe Scheff will return Friday night from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn., to spend the holidays with his parents.
