The funeral services of the late Mrs. Susan M. Lunt were held at 1 o'clock, Tuesday noon at the late home on South State street and were attended by a number of the relatives and friends of the deceased. Rev. E. W. Webber, pastor of the Universalist church of Hallowell officiated. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. The bearers were Samuel Davis, George Kilgore, George Holbrooke and Charles Lunt. The Interment was In the family lot at oak Grove cemetery at Gardiner. We wish to extend our sincere thanks to our many friends who so kindly assisted us during the illness and bereavement of our dear mother and for the many beautiful floral offerings. MISS MAUD LUNT, WALTER W. LUNT. A. A. LUNT, LiNWOOD LUNT.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Emery have returned from their wedding trip and will live at his former home.

Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Southard have gone to Windsor, Vt., to pass the winter with their children.

C. A. Batchelder is in Boston on business.

Miss Carrie I. Withem, who is to teach the grammar school, has arrived from her home in Castine.

Mr. and Mrs. Koyal Furbush are visiting in Cliftondale, Mass., Mrs. Furbush for a month and Mr. Furbush for a week.

Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Weeks were in Newport Sunday to attend the funeral of Mr. Weeks uncle.
