Miss Mildred Cockrell, of Buckeys town, is spending her vacation with relatives in Frederick. Mr. and Mrs. William O. Kolb, and Mr. and Mris. John N. Brongic, motored to Gettysburg yesterday. Mr. F. C. Mehring, of Baltimore, is on a visit at the home of Mr. and Miss. E. Fritz, Dill Aveuue. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Doll, have returned from their wedding trip and are residing on Elm street. Mrs. Victor R. Marken, and daughter, of West Patrick street, are on a visit to friends at Smithsburg, Md. Miss Mary B. Dolaplane, of York, Pa., is visiting her aunt, the Misses Dolaplane, East Church street. Mrs. May Smith Markell, East Second Street,is on a visit to friends at Tilghmans island, Talbott county. Miss Elner Hildebraid, of Washington, is visiting her grandaugter, in Flint, Mich. Mrs. James Cumler, of Flint, Mich., is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wm. D. Baumgardner, North Market street. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Finnicom, of Washington, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Buckey, West South street. Miss Mabel Schmidt, of Washington, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William F. Schmidt, East Third street. Mr. Frank P. Benner, and H. I. Stone, who spent several days at Gettysburg, returned home yesterday. Mr. Walter E. Sinn, of Baltimore, is visiting his parents, Mr.And Mrs. Edward Sinn, North Market street. Mrs. Amanda Orrison, West Church street, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. William Chauncey, near Washington. D. C. Mrs. Camille E. Magalas, and son, Richard, paid a brief visit to Mr. and Mrs. William Wachter, East Fourth street. Prof, and Mrs. E. Russell Stockman, South Market street, have returned from a trip to Virginia and North Carolina. Mr. E. Acker, of Washington, D. C., spent the Fourth with Miss Mildred Harrison, South Market street. Miss Rachel Motter, who has been visiting relatives in Pennsylvania for several weeks has returned to her home. East Second street. Miss Elizabeth Orrison, West Church street, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. William Chaucey, near Washington, has returned. Miss Katharynne Lamar, East Church street, has gone to My Lady's Manor, Baltimore county, where she will spend the summer with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Sheets, of Hancock, Washington county, have been spending their vacation with friends and relatives in and near this city. Mr. and Mrs. U. A. Rice, and son Ruger, Mrs. Silas Betcler, Miss Getrude Blumenauer, and Miss Molly Hartgis, spent the Fourth at Gettysburg. Mrs.Johnston, Miss Henrietta Hodges, and Miss Margaret Fink, of York, Pa., are visiting Mrs. H. C. stauffer and family, East Patrick Street. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Beaufelter, and children, Mr. Thomas Hair, and Mr. George H. BeaUfelter, of Baltimore, are on an automobile trip to friends in this city. Miss Ellen Baker, of Berryville, Va., who has been visiting Miss Cornelia Mcsherry, returned home accompanied by Miss Anne Schley, who will visit her.
