Mrs. Howard Revel and son spent the day Thursday with her aunt, Mrs. Charlie Goolsby.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Revel and grandson Lamar Nick, spent several days with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Wilson of Lisbon.

Rev. and Mrs. J. B. Bryan were Tuesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Franklin.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nick and daughters of Ruston, spent last weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Revel.

Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Chrisman visited her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Arch Greer of Gibsland, a few days. Mr. Greer and Max Chrisman went fishing on the river and caught some nice fish.

We are glad to learn that Mr. Emmett Williamson's hand is getting better, after suffering pain from a fractured bone for some time. We hope he will soon be able to use his hand again.

Mr. Sam Revel's broken arm isn't giving him any pain, but he is getting restless waiting for the day when he can say it is well.

Mrs. Nina Revel has returned home, after spending a month with her daughter, Mrs. Joe Stevenson and family of North Dakota. She ran into some real cold weather but she was well prepared for it. She really enjoyed her visit.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Revel were happy to have his brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. William Revel of Gouldbreak, Texas. His daughter and baby Gerine and Janice of Coleman, Texas, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Tom Frasier, Mrs. Edward Frasier and Mrs. La Nee Johnston of Shreveport, in their home for a visit.

Mr. and Mrs. John Goolsby of San Antonio, Tex., are here visiting relatives and friends this week. They visited her sister and family, Rev. and Mrs. J. B. Bryan, Thursday.

Mrs. J. H. Franklin reports a grand time and enjoyable visit with her'daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Slack, in Texas. After spending a month there, Mr. and Mrs. Slack brought her home, and carried his mother back with them to spend two weeks in his home.

Mrs. Lou Alford of Franklinton, Mrs. Mattie Phillips and Miss Nannie Gullatt were invited to the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Duty last Saturday for a sunrise breakfast. An orange and yellow plain cloth was used on the breakfast table centered with a basket of marigolds. The traditional dishes of fried chicken, hot biscuits, apple jelly and coffee were served.

The following old acquaintances dropped by for a little visit with Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Duty recently, Mrs. Effie Sims and son, Billy, of Natchdotches, Mr. Neal Jones of Haughton, Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Bell and Bob Rives of Gladwater, Texas and Mrs. Leon Bullock of Shreveport.

Mrs. Lou Alford, Miss Nannie Gullatt, Mrs. Mattie Phillips and Mrs. J. A. Duty visited Mr. and Mrs. Rube Sims in Arcadia Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Lenard Mathews and family spent a few days in Hot Springs, Ark., last week.

Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Mayes and son spent Sunday evening with Rev. and Mrs. Carl Elmore oŁ Calhoun.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Durrett and daughter, Alexander, visited their families, Mrs. Scott Durrett and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Rasbury over the week-end.

Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Glower and family are visiting Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Grigg. They all visited Mr. and Mrs. Troy Powell and daughter Saturday at Holley Ridge.

Mrs. Otis White and children of Baton Rouge are visiting Mrs. R. E. Burt and friends and relatives. Also visiting Mrs. Burt Sunday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Ragan Madden and family, Ruston, and Mr. and Mrs. Whit White of Rocky Mount.

Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Johnson of Abilene, Texas, have been recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Sumlin.

Master William Melvin Colvin attended the birthday party of miss Mary Jane Byars Tuesday in Ruston.

Mrs. Ollie Richardson of Arcadia spent a few days with Miss Gypsy Williams last week. On Thursday they spent the day with Miss Helen Mays.

Mrs. Buck Ledbetter underwent an operation at the Ruston hospital recently.

Mrs. Roy Baxter and son, Roy Fredric, and Mrs. Grayson Baxter spent Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. H. H. Harrison and Frances.

Mrs. J. W. Carter and baby John, of Barnett Springs, and Mrs. Pilgreen, visited Mrs. E. M Davidson Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. Florence Pilgreen spent Monday afternoon with Mrs. Vesta Parkman of Barnett Springs.

Anne and Linda Carter of Barnett Springs visited Frances Harrison Tuesday.

J. B. Pilgreen spent Thursday fishing.

E. M. Davidson, A. B. Hood and Shepie Hood went fishing on Black Lake Saturday.

Tom Foster and others went fishing on Louter Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Carter and children, Linda and baby John, spent Saturday night and Sunday with their parents, the Pilgreens.

Mr. and Mrs. Davidson spent a while with them Saturday night.

Mrs. Annie Mae Hood spent last Sunday night and Monday with her daughter, Mrs. Tinsley and family of Simsboro.

Mrs. Pilgreen, Mrs. Davidson Mrs. Carter and children, Anne Linda and John, spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Mack Hood and daughter, Miss Viola Hood.

Anne Stephenson spent Saturday night with Nell Rose Hood.

Linda Carter spent Sunday morning with Frances Harrison.

Mrs. E. M. Davidson and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Hood attended church at Salem Thursday night.

Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Davidson attended Alabama Church Friday night.

Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Davidson spent Sunday with the Pilgreens and Carters.

J. B. Pilgreen, E. M. Davidson, and J. W. Carter went to the ball game at the gin Sunday afternoon.

Friends are sorry Mrs. Vera Harrison is sick and hope she will soon be well again.

J. B. Pilgreen spent Sunday night and Monday night with his daughter, Mrs. J. W. Carter, Mr. Carter and children.

T. D. Baxter of Noble spent Thursday night with his daughter, Mrs. H. H. Harrison and family.

Mrs. Pilgreen spent Sunday night and Monday with her daughter, Mrs. Davidson and Mr. Davidson.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Phillips had their children home Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Carnahan of Shreveport and Mr. and Mrs. Len T. Delony and boys of Minden.

Glad to report Mrs. Buck Ledbetter doing nicely after undergoing an operation in the Ruston Hospital.

Mrs. R. Harrol and Mrs. Eva Best went shopping in Shreveport Monday.

You may be wondering whose new house is being erected on the south side of Highway 80 in Simsboro. Mr. and Mrs. Bobbie Conville are the proud owners of it. We hope they will soon be able to move in.

Mr. and Mrs. Willis Alexander attend the funeral of Mrs. Alexander's uncle, Don Bradley, in Arkansas last week.

Patsy and Monnett Alexander spent part of last week attenting the revival at Terriville and were the guests of Monnett's grandmother, Mrs. George Rease.

Mr. and Mrs. Scott Henry and Marguerite spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Aimer McCullen. Mr. Scott Henry is feeling well enough to sit on the front porch after being sick for a few days.
