Mrs. R. N. Mitchell of Bolivar, Tenn., is visiting her sister, Mrs. Gladstone Hoffman, and Mr. Koffman. Mr. Mitchell is to arrive tomorrow to spend a short visit.

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Connor have arrived from Pittsfield, Mass., to spend their vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Fears of Pembroke.

Pfc. Howard Putman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Putman of 116 South O'Neal Avenue and a graduate of Aviation Machinists Mate School Class A, is en route today to Cherry Point, N. C., where he is to be stationed after spending a leave here with his parents.

Mrs. Harvey White and sons, Edwin, David and Jonathan, of Louisville, accompanied Mrs. White's sister, Miss Charlotte Morton, who has been their recent houseguest and Derby guest, home Monday for a visit with their mother, Mrs. H. E. Morton of the Cox Mill Road.

Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Spickard of Atlanta, Mrs. Hyghland Ranes of Slaughters and Mrs. J. R. Barnett of Madisonville were here recently to attend services at the Church of Christ, where their cousin, James Parker Miller of Orlando, Fla., conducted a series of services. They were joined here by Mr. Miller's mother, Mrs. J. R. Miller of Hazel, Ky.

Mr. and Mrs T. E. Baugh have returned to their home in Dallas, Texas, following a short visit with his brother T. J. Baugh and family, of South Virginia Street. En route home they attended the Kentucky Derby.

M/Sgt. James W. Bradley has completed a 30-day leave here with his mother, Mrs. B. B. Bradley of the Russellville Road, following a 12-month tour of duty in Korea. M/Sgt. Bradley and his wife, the former Miss Carolyn Kemp, and their son, Don. are now living in Columbus, Ga, while he is stationed at Lawson Air Force Base.

William C. Kauble, son of Mrs Ann Kauble of 153 Alumm Avenue, is now in Korea serving with the 92nd Field Artillery Battery (Searchlight). He was re- cently promoted to private first class.

Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Loitus and son, C. W., have returned to their home on McPherson Avenue after visiting with their son.
