Miss Anna Theresa Lee, 72, of
the St. Patrick's community, died
early Saturday morning at the
St. Joseph nursing home where she
had been a patient the last three
months. Funeral services will be Monday
morning at 9:30 o'clock at St,
Patrick's church, and burial will
be in St. Patrick's cemetery. The
rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock
Sunday night at the Harouff-Buis
funeral home.
Miss Lee was born in the St.
Patrick's community and lived
there all her life. She made her
home with her brother, Dan Lee,
on the farm where she was born.
She is survived by three brothers.
Patrick Lee of south of
Atchison, Bernard Lee of Leavenworth
and Dan Lee, and by one
sister, Sister Clotida of Mount St.
Scholastica convent.
Pallbearers will be Walter Funk,
John Kane, John McCourt, Ralph
Weber, Roy Harrison and Pete Pickman.
Owen Horner has returned to Akron, 0hio, after spending the holi- days with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. James Horner. The Horners had their three other sons James, Lawrence, and Art and their fam- ilies home for Christmas. Also Miss Margaret Clifford of Denver was a guest at the Horner home. Mr. and Mrs. J. Ross Knowles announce the engagement of their daughter, Dorothy, to Mr. Charles Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. 0. Thompson of Robinson, Kas. The marriage will occur in the near future, Fred Turner left Friday evening for Chicago where he will join Mrs. Turner who has been visiting relatives there. They will remain until after the holiday weekend. Miss Kathleen McClanahan, Miss Marie Touhey and Wallace McKee of Kansas City are New Year weekend guests at the home of Mrs. Wallace Brockett and son, John. Wallace and John will return to Kansas university Monday. Mrs. Mae Bostwick Smith is visiting Atchison friends. She is enroute to her home in Berkeley, Calif., after spending Christmas with her niece in Boston.
