John Dry, has accepted a position as clerk at the Hotel Flint. Mrs. W. P. Lambdin, was quite sick last week but is much better now. Joshua Gosnel, has been very sick for several weeks but is on the mend. Mrs. W. J. Briggs, visited her brother and sister in Urbana, last week. Mrs. Elpha Smithson, went to Hayden, Ind., last week to assist Rev. J. N. Edmonson, with the musical work in the revival he is conducting there. Mrs. Leonard E. Randolph, and daughter Beulah, returned home Saturday eveing from Hindsboro, where they spent Thanksgiving with the formers mother and sister. Miss Mabel Edmonson, of the James Milkin university, spent Saturday and Sunday with home folks. Miss Ida Fahrkoff, of Urbana spent Thanksgiving day with Miss Lillie White. Harry Fisher, spent Thanksgiving with home folks. Miss Sadie Hoff, was the guest of Miss Anna Tark, in Tuscola, last Friday. Leslie Lewis, of the James Milkin university spent the holidays at home. Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Sweeney, departed for their home at Springfield, Mo., after a visit over Thanksgiving. Clyde Cazelet, of Assumption, visted friends in the city Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Mose Hutchins, departed Monday afternoon for Pasadena, called to spend the winter with relatives. Lee Lichenberger, has been transferred to the position of general manager of the Sperry Flour Mills company at Portland, Ore. He is a brother of the Lichenberger Bros. of Pana, and well known here where he was reared and educated. S. L. Griffith, has returned from Champaign. He was accompanied by his son, Logan Griffith, who will remain in the city for a few days. W. Senn Hoover, of Milkin, was the guest of his parents here Sunday. Edson Heggard, was the guest of friends in Bethany, sunday eveing. Mrs. Peck Wright, of Decatur, was the guest of friends here the latter part of last week. Miss Nelle Potts, of Villa Grove, visited with her parents. Mr.and Mrs. P. B. Potts, and family visited here last week. Will Donoven, and wife of Rantoul, were the guests of relatives in this city last week. Miss Lillian Gregory, was shopping in Decatur, last Saturday. Roy Silver, spent Sunday at the home of his parents in Sullivan. Thomas L. Conn, of Hammand, was the guest of friends and relatives here over Sunday. Elmer Campbell, of Nokomis, spent Thanksgiving with old friends in this city. He also played football in the Alumni game Thursday. Tom Terrill, is attending the holidays with his parents here. Miss Hattie Lambdin, of Sidell is the guest of her Uncle, W. P. Lambdin, and wife. Miss Lora Biggs, of Decatur, spent Sunday here with her parents, Mr.and Mrs. W. I. Biggs. Misses Grace White, and Mollie Gross, of the Browns Business college of Decatur, spent the Holidays with home folks. R. C. Sipe, was in Decatur visiting Saturday.
