Most of his immediate family spent the day Sunday honoring J. A. Boswell with a cooperative dinner at the John DeVore home. The day, was spent visiting.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mosier entertained guests at dinner on Sunday honoring Fathers Day. Guests were Art W. Hardisty, Norman and Norma of Grant City. Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Darold B. Hardisty, Bruce, Larry and Mary, of Carbon.

A lovely dinner was served in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Drexel Leonard Sunday. June 17th. in honor of Father's Day. Present, to enjoy the occasion were Arthur Leonard, of Creston. Red Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Cooper, Mr. and Mrs.Dean Leonard, Victor, Michel and Steven, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Konecne, Larry, and Judy and Delores Hadley, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Leonard.

A miscellaneous shower was given for Mr.and Mrs. Jesse Figgins, Jr., at the Jesse Figgins Sr. home Saturday evening, June I2th. A nice crowd was on hand to honor the couple who were married June 12th. THe evening was enjoyed with cards, visiting and dancing. At a late hour, a delicious supper was served. A lovely wedding cake, baked by Mrs. Anna Figgins was the feature of the supper. Mr. and Mrs. Figgins received many nice Gifts, in token of the occasion.

Father's Day was observed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Falconer with the following guests, Mrs. Don Pearson, Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Pearson and son, Mrs. Ed Chappell and baby, and Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Fulton. A number of guests were detained by illness.
