Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Oglesby and Miss Eugenia Oslesby left yesterday for southern California to remain the balance of the winter. Mrs. Dr. Hobbs left yesterday in response to an urgent message for her presence at the bedside of her mother, Mrs. Hendricks, who is ill at her home in Indianapolis.

The friends of Miss Marie Dee Ellis will be glad to learn that she is recovering from her recent illness.

Last night at the residence of Mrs. Fannie Lamar, Rank in the Ladies Aid Society of tho Georgia Avenue Presbyterian church gave a delightful entertainment.

Today Mrs. Charles Healey will entertain at luncheon and at a box party in compliment to Miss Julia Hancock. Her guests besides Miss Hancock will be Miss Annie Louise Hill and Mrs. James Dickey, Jr.

Dr. P. J. A. Cleary has returned home.
