Another case of smallpox was reported here today by Dr, W. S. Putney, local health officer. The latest victim is Irving K. Reynolds, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest L. Reynolds of 83 High street. It is the second case, in the family. His sister Miss Ethel Reynolds, 22, was stricken three weeks ago. The case is of the mild type and brings up the total official number of cases reported to 17.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter O. North, of 185 Brookview avenue, have been called to Syracuse by the sudden death of Mr. North's father.

A food and apron sale will be held at the home of Mrs. J. B. Bradley, of 35 Sherwood avenue, this afternoon.

The Young Women's Guild of the United church will hold its monthly business meeting this afternoon at the home of Miss Lillian Jones, of 831 Laurel avenue.

O. E. S. Sewing circle will meet at the home of Mrs. James A. Stevenson. of 2S21 Main street, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
