Mrs. Golinc Allen, will go to Birmingham the first of next week to enter a hospital for treatment of a recent illness.

Leonard Lumsden, has been confined to his home this week after an attack of influenza.

Visiting the Julian McPhillips, last Thursday through Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Julian McPhillips, Sr., of New Orleans, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stiefelmeyer, entertained for them with a dinner Saturday night.

Mrs. Roy Ward, is out now after a bout with virus pneumonia last week. She is now constantly praising the new drug aureomycin which speeded her recovery so greatly.

Mrs. Voight Culpepper, entertained the eleven members of her Primary Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church with a Valentine's party Tuesday. All the children reported a wonderful party with games and favors and refreshments all in the Valentine motif. Mrs. Culpepper, looked like a lady bus driver with all eleven in her car after school and then distributing them home

We're hoping Mrs. Lloyd Trapp, who is going through Mayo's Clinic, Rochester, Minn will soon be well again.

Miss Magdalene Livingston, Mrs. Ed Glaser, and Dr. and Mrs. E. G. Plunkett, all of Cullman, attended the Dental Clinic in Birmingham, held at the Tutwiler Hotel Saturday through Tuesday.

Dr. and Mrs. Jimmy Cbambliss, returned Friday from an Optical Clinic in Chicago.

George Stiefelmeyer, Jr., has also been on the sick list with "flu", but is able to be up now.

Mrs. Voight Culpepper, spent Monday in Birmingham.

Little Bobby Young, has been in bed for over a week with "flu", but has now improved.

Mr. and Mrs. Alex Millar, returned Saturday from a three-day Press Association meeting in Montgomery.

Mrs. Harry Fuller's mother, Mrs Savannah Spinks, of Jasper, has been visiting her this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Finis St. John, spent the weekend with Finis III in Chattanooga. Warren stayed in Albertville with Mr. and Mrs. Wilkins Jackson, and the St. John's returned there to spend Sunday with her relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Joel Yates, spent the weekend in Florence, having gone up to get their two youngest children who had spent the week with their grandparents there.

Mrs. Ruth Griffin, Mrs. M. L Robertson, Mrs. Robert Rosson, Miss Charlotte Marie Rosson, were in Birmingham, last weekend attending several parties for Miss Joyce Griffin, who will be married this month.
