a visit at home, and Thorwald Eros Jr.,
arrives tomorrow from the
School of Dentistry at Emory University
for a short visit with his
parents at 1500 Qulntard Avenue.
Mrs. Frank Cater has returned to Selma after being the guest of Mrs. George F. Cater, stopping en rout for a visit In Birmingham. Mrs. Edwin A. Darden spent Wednesday in Sylaceuga, where she attended a district meeting of the Alabama Federation of Music Clubs. Mrs. Mary A. Wright leaves the last of the month to make her home in Houston, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Prather, Jr., will return today after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Rea in Eufaula. Mrs. Raymond E. Lee is recovering after a week's illness at her home at 1230 Leighlon Avenue. Mrs. Gasque Hall and baby have returned to Brewton, after a visit with Dr.and Mrs. J. H. Sellers. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Snyder have named their little daughter, Sharon Snyder. Mr. and Mrs. Gus Davis Leslie, (Margaret Prather) will arrive today from Chattanooga, for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Prather, Jr., and they leave on Wednesday to spend some time in New York City. Dr. and Mrs. Irwin M. Boozer have named their little daughter, Marian Boozer. Mr. and Mrs. DeWitt McCargo, Sr., expects to move into their new home on FairWay on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. McCall will return tomorrow after a visit in Charleston, S. C. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Frost and children will return to Birmingham today after a visit with Dr. and Mrs. W. M. Sailer on Montvue Road. Mr. and Mrs. John H. Wakefield and Dr. and Mrs. John Robert Wakefield have returned after a visit at Foley. Miss Vashti Lyon left yesterday for Cocoa, Fla., where she will be connected with the Cocoa Air Base. Little Sherry Dupree is recovering after an illness at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Dupree, on Lynn Road. Bishop C. J. Carpenter of Birmingham, will be the guest of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Lagarde at McMillian Terrace for the convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama. Col. and Mrs. Harry M. Ayers will have as their guests during the convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama, Rev. Edward Mullen of Florence and Rev. Richard C. Fell of Sheffield. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond P. Wheeler's guests at their home, Callander House, for the convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama will be Albert J. Tulley and Jack Roberts of Mobile. Mr. and Mrs. John B. Lagarde, Mr. and Mrs. James Henry Smith, and Dr. and Mrs. Hugh Gruy spent the weekend as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Cobb King Sr., at their hunting lodge, near Albany, Ga. Mr. and Mrs. Severn Regar of Eufaula, will be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Jesperson during the convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama. Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Weaver and Miss Lillabel Weaver spent Thursday in Birmingham. Dr. and Mrs. W. G. Henry are in Decatur, where Mrs. Henry will be present at a tea for Mrs. William Steed, Jr., and they will spend this week in Gadsden, where Dr. Henry will be the instructor for a district school of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Charles B. Durgin and Mrs. Austin Cater spent Thursday in Birmingham. James Motes, Jr., is recovering after an illness from pneumonia at the home of his parents on Highland Avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sanford of Birmingham, will arrive Monday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Walker Reynolds. The Rev. George Murrey of Tuscaloosa, and Rev. James Stirling of Auburn, will spend Tuesday and Wednesday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Deyo on Sunset Drive, while attending the convention at the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama. Dr. and Mrs. Walker Reynolds, Jr., of Birmingham are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Walker Reynolds, Sr. The Rev. Phillip Arsnault of Selma, arrives Tuesday to be the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Bennett. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Peyton Roberts, Mrs. Leonard H. Roberts, and Mrs. Robert W. Dethlefs, leave tomorrow for a visit in New York City. Mr. and Mrs. George F. Wilson and daughter, Sylvia have returned after a stay of two weeks at Panama City, Fla. Mr. Leonard G. Henry and Mrs. Henry B. Ingram will spend tomorrow in Birmingham. Eugene L. Turner, Sr., has returned after a trip to Washington D. C. Mr. T. H. Cleveland has returned after a trip to Colorado, stopping en route home for a visit with relatives in Nashville. Mr. and Mrs. R. Lane Hebson, spent Friday in Birmingham. Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Morris, have returned after a visit with their daughter, Mrs. Marvia Swindle, and family in St. Louis. They also visited in Sparta, ILL. Miss Margaret Walker, leaves today to return to Los Angeles, Calif., after a visit with her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Walker and Miss Jean Walker. Mrs. William Lewis, of Newnan, Ga., is visiting her sister, Mrs. Ada L. Cole. Mr. and Mrs. William Borthwick, (Betty Bernhard) are in Birmingham, where they attended the funeral yesterday of the latter's mother, the late Mrs. John E. Bernhard. Mrs. Millard Kilgore, has returned to Jasper after a visit with her sister, Mrs. E. L. Ballentine on Isbell Avenue. Mrs. Luther B. Liles, and Mrs. Joseph C. Wheeler, will return Tuesday after a visit in New Orleans. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mizell have returned to Montgomery after a visit at the Jefferson Davis Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Severn Regar, have returned to Eufaula after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Jesperson on Sunset Drive. Thomas G. Coleman, Jr., will arrive Tuesday from the University of Virginia to spend a week with his parents at their home.
