George Rutledge, returns to the
University of Georgia on Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Purdue, and family have returned after a visit with relatives at Elba. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Turner Persons, and Janice, have returned to Charlotte, N. C. after a visit in the home of Mrs. Kathleen Brummel. Miss Carol Tanner, returned Saturday, after a week's visit in Miami, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Billingsley, of Jasper were the recent guests of their daughter, Mrs. Knox Spearman, and Dr. Spearman in Glenwood Terrace. Mrs. Fred O. Campbell, Jr., Mrs. Norris Todd, Barbara and Paul Allen Campbell have returned to Chattanooga after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Cordell, on FairWay. Mrs. Horace Green, is improving after an Illness at her home at 604 E. 22nd Street. Miss Hope Henderson, has returned to Birmingham after being the guest of Dr. and Mrs. J. C. Francis, for the Francis-Norton marriage. Mrs. Yancey White, of Rome, Ga., is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Allen Jamison. C. C. Burton, of Birmingham was one of the guests at the Francis- Norton wedding and while in the city he visited in the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Francis. Mrs. Lovice Hagler, and Mrs. Amy Francis, have returned after a visit In Birmlngham. Ross J. Watson, is expected home after a visit in Lakeland, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Hagler, of Montgomery, spent the weekend as the guests of Mrs. C. F. Dempsey. Miss Mary Dell Wilkins, has returned to Tulane University in New Orleans, after a holiday visit in Anniston. Miss Jeanette Smith, of Indianapolis, Ind., was the recent guest of Mrs. H. W. Little, on Quintard Avenue. Miss Sarah Cater, left yesterday to return to Covington, Va., after a visit at home. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Allen, have returned after a visit with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Colburn in Osborn, Ohio. Miss Mary Elizabeth Tidwell, has returned to Birmingham after a visit with friends in Anniston. Mr. and Mrs. B. I. Rigney, and family spent Sunday with relatives in Birmingham. Mrs. E. J. Pruett, has returned after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Burton, in Rome, Ga. Don Rigney, and John Henry, leave tomorrow to return to M. I. T. in Boston, after a holiday visit at home. Mr. Frank Russey, Sr., has returned after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Russey, and children in Birmingham. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Mintling, (Violet Ramsey) are now occupying their new home on the Eulaton Road. Miss Lila Huger, has returned to Alabama College after spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen P. Huger.
